Engine Rescue-2 is a 1980 Mack CF that began it's service with the
New York City Fire Department. It was originally assigned to Engine Co. 7,
which resides in the Tribeca section of Lower Manhattan.
This unit served with Engine Co. 7 from 1980 until 1990.
After leaving first line service, the Mack served several more years as a
Reserve Engine, seeing duty at several stations including
Engine Co. 73 in the Bronx and Engine Co. 58 in Harlem.
After being removed from reserve status and disposed of by the
city, it was purchased by the Mapleton Fire Department where it began
service with Company 2 in 1997.
